Target
In the US, Target is perceived as far more stylish than Walmart or Kmart even though it sells the same kind of stuff. So much so, it's known as Tarjay for a joke, i.e. Target with a French accent. The perceived difference is mostly down the advertising. Kirshenbaum Bond, New York.

Written for a pitch. I based the tone of voice on the humorist Erma Bombeck who was a champion of our target demographic – financially overstretched American housewives. Lowe, New York.
